This movie has an amazing story line, and a very skilled cast. Its just sweet! It doesn't get 100 just because i thought the story line was quite slowly.

This score is for the director's cut.

Luckily for everyone involved, the sheltered blacksmith also turned out to be not just a master swordsman, but uncannily skilled in the arts of irrigation, defense and negotiation.

Have only seen the theatrical version but can't imagine the DC being much better. Orlando Bloom can't act for shit. Seriously people in my high school plays emoted better than he does, how the fuck did he graduate from a drama academy? The film itself is tiresome. Come on it's the Crusades, stop trying SO HARD to be politically correct. Replace all those speeches about how much everyone wants peace with debauched corruption and violent slaughter and you might have had an interesting movie.

Saved by the battles, and the drama.

Very posh, very romantic and dramatic. Not very realistic though (for starters, Jerusalem isn't situated on a large, dusty plain.)

Director's Cut makes the difference like many before me have said. "Kingdom of Heaven" just looks stunning and just topped off with great performances from the tremendous cast.

Poor character development; I could care less what happens to these guys. The noble-to-a-fault main character is just too unrealistic to be viewed as anything other than a caricature. I've only seen the Director's Cut...at about 3 hours, it's long and doesn't flow. Bland...skip it.

This film is gorgeous unfortunately I've never been able to sit through it, despite owning the dvd.

I agree with everything that's been said. Director's cut is a must, and besides Orlando Bloom's very average cast, the other actors are really good and, with some very interesting motives, make the film quite an enjoyable experience.
