This may be the best performance of Nicolas Cage's career, but David Caruso blows and Hunt and Jackson are very forgettable. A bad movie made somewhat watchable due to Cage.

Quite surprisingly good. The plot has elements, of course, that crime movie fans will be well familiar with. But Schroeder squeezes good performances out of everyone, and the editing and cinematography are excellent. I'm giving it a big point deduction because it seems to run out of juice near the end--I don't know if they had a running time issue or what, but the last parts seem very rushed.
