Summary: Helen lives in London with her father and kids. Her husband John is an aid-worker in Eastern Europe. After many months, Helen wants him to come home. One morning, she is killed in a car accident, and remains caught in limbo. Miles away, John is unaware that his wife has died (as is Helen). Grandpa and the kids must come to terms with Helen's death; John must travels across a war-torn land as he tries to get home; and Helen must face her own existence as it comes back to haunt her.
