Summary: Two neighboring villages, the Christian dominated Veppamkulam & the Hindu dominated Puliyankulam, are at constant loggerheads. Periyasami (Raj Kiran), the leader of Puliyankulam is a voice of reason whilst Michael Susai (Nasser), the leader of Veppamkulam is an ornery religious fanatic. Periyasami's son Sakthivel (Simbu) & Susai's daughter Angel Devi (Sonia Agarwal) go to the same college & fall in love. Facing opposition from both families, they now have to overcome all odds to be together.
