Summary: Kurukshetra is based on the Kargil War of 1999, fought between India and Pakistan. Colonel Mahadevan (Mohanlal), who leads the army unit posted at Kargil, has as his mission the re-capturing of Indian territory that had earlier been run over by the enemy. Major Ravi tries to exploit the viewer's patriotic feelings once again, in this "sequel" to 'Keerthichakra'. The obvious patriotic emotions cheated out of the viewer apart, 'Keerthichakra' is plain boring. The movie also pathetically panders to Muslim egos and tries to be politically correct by portraying them as "patriotic", a wild & fantastical concept. Good try, but doesn't work.
