Not bad, but kind of adolescent... like, well, all Gondry movies. "To kiss (read: fuck) a girl is THE ULTIMATE VALIDATION OF YOU AS A HUMAN BEING." Yeah yeah yeah, been there done that. I suppose I'd like it better if pop culture here in the US wasn't so commonly aimed at 12-year-olds. People keep acting like Gondry is some kind of genius or something. I guess you have to start taking drugs when you are 12 years old so you can avoid maturing and therefore keep making films that hew to that grain
