The film was a deep exploration of human mind. Who was actually a prisoner of whom? Orca is a killer whale and La Orca was a kind of Moby Dick variation, but very different one. Director did not focus much on the kidnapping part of the story, he was interested of totally other things. Why was the girl chosen? Who was the father? Even father did not know her that well, which made thinking who was her mother?
