One find a lot of strange things when being uncritical about what movies one watch. Here's Latvia's first feature film! A silent from 1930 about love and war through the ages. Can't say it always easy to follow, but the thread in the story is a magic crest which the evil guy always want regardless if it's the middle ages, the 1905 revolution or World War 1. The first 15 minutes are easily the best part. It's almost like Nosferatu and Quasimodo join force to keep Rapunzel prisoner!
