Neat, but with few indications of David Lynch's genius.

Bad acting and the use of digital camera can be distracting. But it's Lynch, so it's not awful.

Boring, amateurish and nonsensical. Okay I'll let that last one slide since it's Lynch, but the other two shouldn't apply. Just not a very good movie. Though it did make me want to buy that purse...

A somewhat silly sixteen minute Dior advertisement which nevertheless contains some impressive imagery and editing.

Reviewing: A very Lynchian output. Only dwarf and giant were missing - though they were symbolically involved. A beautiful girl (a damsel in distress), mystery, old record player, crossing dimensions, blue rose, strobe light, red curtains, duality (among others two security men). The story was non-concrete, but the idea was to sell a feeling. The slow motion was a bit disturbing since it lasted long time and made picture flicker. The score and the mood were as strong as they used to be with him.

Directing, cinematography, mood and music are all basic Lynch with lots of his usual symbolism. Too much unsuccesful slow motion brings it down a notch.
