A delightful early gangster film with a lighthearted comedic flare throughout.James Cagney is giving a role and scenes that really shows off his immense talent very well. The only real downer was that the ending seemed a little rushed.

This movie contains another good performance by James Cagney. This is an interesting story, one that is over to fast. They could have come up with a better title, it doesn't really suit the film.

An involving dramedy of a shrewd man and his errors. Cagney plays a former criminal with a deep sense of loyalty who just happens to hold dreadful grudges; literally forcing others to eat their words. At times hilarious and at others empathetic, Lady Killer is an overall great movie that mixes the clever with the cliche in a fun and lightly memorable way.

One of those insignificant oldies. Cagney is charismatic as ever. Comic role didn't slow him down one bit. Once again he gets a chance to bully Mae Clarke. I loved her expression when the dialog brought up a grapefruit.
