Summary : Its placid waters complement the pristine Maine wilderness it borders. This tranquil setting is probably the last place you'd expect a gruesome fatality. But then it's also the last place youd expect to find a 30-foot, narrow-snouted, multi-toothed, reptilian of the species Crocodylus. An eating machine more commonly known as a crocodile. A fun watch, like eight-legged freaks. But when that cgi bear was eaten, it brought a tear to my eye. It probably had a cgi family and everything. Whenever I think of this movie, I give a moment of silence for the poor cgi bear lost to this movie.

The only thing this ultimately has going for it is its witty dialogue. The premise is old-hat by now and, coincidentally, is stunningly close to 1982's fellow horror-comedy, "Alligator." It may tickle your funny bone now and again, but not for long periods at a time; the only thing horrific about this movie is that Miner actually thought he was making a good movie.
