This movie didn't work for me. I didn't get the feeling this movie was set in 1939, it had a modern feeling to it. I thought the acting wasn't great either. Don't know what kind of accent Jeremy Irons tried to pull off. A slow paced, quite boring movie

Not the best movie ever, but at the same time, not a bad one. Neve Campbell and Jeremy Irons put in solid performances, although how much of it is actually fact is up to debate.
