The actors and a [mostly] realistic script elevate some truly boring filmmaking.

Slight, but quite charming tale of an old-fashioned courtship in the inhospitable setting of a refugee holding camp.

This is like dry toast. Toast is nice & everything, even good, and when dry, takes a long time to get through. This hour and fifteen minutes goes on for a full two hours. Still the picture has a lot charm based on its cool location shoot, good lookin' stars, and random unpredictable scene sequence.
