First and (unfortunately) only collaboration between Georges Lautner and Jean Gabin. Unfortunately because this film is really excellent. Lautner is in fine form, showing us that police ultra-modern for its time. Jean Gabin and André Pousse are excellent, and Michel Audiard gives us great lines : "Je pense que le jour où on mettra les cons sur orbite, t'as pas fini de tourner", "Quand on parle pognon, à partir d'un certain chiffre, tout le monde écoute".
