Moody, sensual Denis-esque cinematography, minimal dialogue, Roxy Music and Italo disco on the soundtrack, a beautiful girl... yes, all the elements of a typical "Jake Aesthete" movie are here. Ultimately not quite at masterpiece level mainly due to some convoluted obvious plot "twists" and a tonally misjudged ending, and it's not like we haven't all seen this sort of thing done before (Alexis Dos Santos' superior films come to mind), but for what it is, it is quite satisfying.
