Jet Li displays some over-the-top coreographies but the editing and the cheap looking style ruin most of it. Otherwise the movie is just weird.

Some great martial arts, but a convoluted story and a sudden venture into bizarro-land in the last 20 minutes hurt this movie. Some of the stuff with Jet Li and his young son is pretty good, even though it draws obvious inspiration from Lone Wolf & Cub.
