I will never understand this film's horrid reputation. It's completely insane, ridiculous, and makes no sense...but folks, this is a fucking comedy, not a serious drama. "The Hangover" was also ridiculous and makes no sense, but people appreciate it, no? "Leonard Part 6" is nowhere near as good as "The Hangover", thanks to some really lame scenes, fewer jokes, and overall inferior comic talent. But is it a horrendous film? Absolutely not. It's an average, watchable comedy, no more, no less.

How did Bill Cosby, an eminently funny man, manage to write and star in such unfunny dreck as this? It doesn't just fail to entertain, it's obnoxiously in-your-face with how terrible it is.

Surreal and absurd comedy writers spend a very long time throwing unusual words and ideas together to find combinations that appeal to us somehow. You then take those things that sound funny on paper, such as a rainbow trout that barks like a dog, and then put them on the screen. It's this part where Leonard Part 6 is an absolute disaster because it just doesn't work on film leaving the viewer bewildered and confused. I watched the film not laughing but in a sort of stunned trance.

The credits were the best part of the movie. I know a lot of people say that as a joke like "My favorite part was the credits because it was OVER!", but honestly, I enjoyed the credits more than anything else that preceded them. Some people have some really goofy names.

Don't let the low score fool you. Yes, it's a terrible movie. Cosby himself said so before the movie even came out. However, it's one of those "so bad it's good movies". Watch it for kicks and enjoy the terriblenessitude.

I usually love a goofy, pointless movie, but this was much more the latter than the former. How such a funny guy trying to be funny ends up in such an unfunny stupid film escapes me.

I like Bill Cosby, always have, probably always will. This movie would have ended the carrer of most actors (it took Ghost Dad to kill Bill's film carrer). Sadly, the only funny part about this movie is the overabundance of product placements. If you decide to subject yourself to this movie, count the number of products that you see. It was a good thing they paid for this movie, because it certainly wasn't going to make it at the box office.

The only movie I remember actively HATING as a kid. This dopey piece of excrement was aimed right at my stupid 7-year-old mind, and even I knew it was complete horseshit back then! I don't see how anything could supplant this bad boy as the worst movie I've ever seen.

Genius! A film far ahead of its time. Bill Cosby's show did not prepare me for such funny hijinks. America, as usual, being filled w/ dullards and idiots, missed the boat on this one, preferring the filled-with-hate sc-fi "comedy" of Back to the Future. As usual, America's time-traveling heroes must be white, rather than the energetic homespun prankster that Cobsy embodies here. -- Armond White Jr.

I consistently cite this as the worst film I have ever seen, and I am one of perhaps 10 people in the world who can claim to have seen this disaster in the theater. My best guess is that this got greenlighted during an era when Cosby was believed to be able to do no wrong. This proved decisively that he most certainly could do wrong, and there is no film you'll find more wrong than this. Cosby astride an ostrich is an image I would like surgically removed from my brain.

Cosby apologized for this dog of a movie. It is so bad it actually cracks me up a bit. But not enough to sit through the whole thing.
