probably the best movie I`ve ever seen on the theme `friendship`... incredibly natural acting by the whole ensemble...

The only uses of tissue in this movie was the price of the ticket to watch this awful piece of crap.

This is some kind of French family drama/comedy, but I couldn't tell you much more, because so many of the crucial details are simply omitted, or drowned out by the ill-fitting Anglophone feelgood soundtrack. Even after 2.5 hours I could not tell you which characters were sons, daughters, siblings, friends, lovers, exes, in-laws or other. So much information is withheld, it's like Canet is playing poker with us. Instead he just creates a big frustrating (yet shiny) self-indulgent mess.

Despite the lack of a balanced narrative structure and its 150 minute length, it's safe to say I wasn't bored for a single second. The characters are portrayed magnificently, with such truthfulness and humility and Canet distributes themes of unconditional friendship and fading love equally throughout the film. I was also laughing almost continuously. Serves its title right and Canet proves he's force to be reckoned with. The kind of the film that makes me want to spend time in a movie theatre.
