Summary: What happens when a man and a woman share a common passion? They fall in love. And this is what happens to Jean-René, the boss of a small chocolate factory, and Angélique, a gifted chocolate maker he has just hired. What occurs when a highly emotional man meets a highly emotional woman? They fall in love, and this is what occurs to Jean-René and Angélique who share the same handicap. But being pathologically timid does not make things easy for them. (imdb)

Good comedy about a very shy couple in funny situations.

This romance about a too sentimental couple -- they both are afraid of people and any kind of human contact -- basically plays by the rules of american indie comedies, filled with a lovely soundtrack, a cute pair of characters and a supposedly charming but happy finale. Dull, null and so on.

A very cutesy movie with Isabelle Carré playing a character similar to the iconic Amélie only with any sharp or spiky edges carefully filed down to soft, rounded, cotton-wool fluffiness. Her performance as the timid "emotional" heroine is winning, and Benoît Poelvoorde is very funny as her even more timid boss. Although the idea was nice, it didn't go anywhere interesting - and the opportunity to get visual and sensual with an amazing chocolate experience was totally missed by the director.
