Beautiful, breathtaking, emotional and really captivating. One of the best documentaries I've seen i many, many years.

A truly inspirational and poignant film, showing how inter-connected we all are spiritually and physically while exemplifying the infallibility of the human spirit. The idea that there is equal value in all lives is demonstrated successfully, we all are not that different.

Welp, that was a lot of things. I suppose you couldn't do a great deal better with the gazillion different contributors but it's just hard to keep this kind of thing cohesive. Even with some semblance of structure through a series of questions it's hard not to see the seams separating all these experiences. Yes, movie, life is a lot of different things. Thanks?

Other than the embarrassing coda, it is actually quite good. More National Geographic than YouTube, but the mix is better than both.

Some interesting people on here. Just when I felt it about to entice me it would let go. Will make for a nice time capsule piece for someone to watch 100 years from now. Not much more than that though.

It's an interesting experiment in crowdsourced filmmaking; in this case editing the footage into a sort of quasi-documentary. It has the potential to be truly exceptional, and there are sequences that are simply beautiful and awe-inspiring, but I feel a certain lack of sophistication in direction. It's worth watching at least once, if only for the demonstration of the universal nature of the human experience.

A beautiful glimpse at life on earth, from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the everyday to the transcendental. The horror of the Love Festival crush, the fear in the eyes of a cow about to be slaughtered, the pain of a child whose mother has cancer ... and the joy of snuggling with one's children, watching a full moon, paying homage to the household Gods, all in one place. It was wonderfully cut and edited. My only gripe was that the final clip wasn't as strong as the rest of the film.

Unique and interesting. The quality of editing varies as sometimes its fantastic and others noticeably lacking. I felt in some scenarios they could of used extra footage to enhance scenes instead of sticking to a particular bit of footage which isn't as powerful as they think it is. Worth the time and a pretty cool idea.

Uneven. I liked it best when it combined the footage with rythmic editing. Sometimes the score overdid it in trying to make the moments appear greater than they seemed but there's enough interesting (and weird) people in the movie to make it worthwhile to sit through.

Definetly something new. Against the odds, it kept me interrested trough out the whole thing.

The whole thing is coherent, sometimes really moving, sometimes really dull, but undeniably compelling by its spontaneous, reflexive and strong material. In one of the videos, there is this young lady saying that she worked on this 24th of July and that nothing really interesting happened in her life, but she also reveals that she feels that something quite important must have happened. Life, maybe. And that's it, most of the time, all we have is just life. That's big.
