Summary: How do you learn to love again when the pain of the past won't let you go? When you're 32 with a troubled history and a doubtful future, it's a question that isn't so easy to answer. And for Tracy Heart (Blanchett), it's a question she can no longer ignore. (First Look Features)
stellar acting, which makes first half of the movie worth your while. The plot leaves the viewer hanging, as the story goes nowhere. Overall a disappointment.
The editing and direction during first hour was interesting to follow. Both Blanchett and Weaving were nice but the latter half brought drugs on the table and everything went wrong in all fields. Tying the strings in the end was kind of meaningless.
well directed, and acted, hell, it's extremely well done in those areas. the problem is in the writing, it's just too slow in the begining, the ending wraps everything up much better, if the end were reflected in the rest this movie would be amazing, but i cant help but feel that some more could have happened in this movie. the ending scene is spectacular.
