Summary: After a traumatic childhood being bullied Brenda (Young) and her immigrant friend Jonathan (Schoyen) grows up realizing that nothing has changed since childhood. In a desperate attempt the middle-aged friends start up their own business in Los Angeles to get their lives on track and gain respect from others. In their pursuit of finding happiness they get trapped in a corrupted life of abuse, sex and deception in a city where the end justifies the means. (Rover Films)
