Broadbent and Morton are stunningly good in this examination of psychopathy and pureness of heart.

An English lord and his pet serial killer. This is another British small-screen picture, which has some sort of... crispness to it that I can't quite finger exactly. There's just something about these productions, the way they look and feel. The photography looks somehow starker than their American counterparts, and the acting feels... ridiculously professional. It's as if all these people, down to the bit players, rehearsed their scenes at least 20 times before the camera was ever turned on

Some of the best acting I've ever had the pleasure of watching, combined with an interesting real-life story I hadn't previously known too much about. Great stuff.
