such a waste, a sequel to The Lost Boys should have been way better than this! they should have made one back in the early 90's or something, this was bad
It's no match for the original but it's a respectable sequel, but having said that without Edgar Frog returning it might not have been that amazing. Decent concept but Tad Hilgenbrink wasn't a likeable lead as Chris, neither was our villain Shane. Any flaws the film did have were almost made up for when Corey Feldman showed up, and I was happy he returned for #3 as well! Overall fans of the first should still check it out just to see Edgar again, but other than that it's a decent flick.
Fans of 'The Lost Boys' will be happy to see Edgar Frog back in action, but probably disappointed with the rest of the film. I however enjoyed it. While its nothing compared to 'The Lost Boys', its almost like an updated version instead of a sequel. Death scenes were a tad disappointing, as was the conclusion. Storyline was good with likeable characters and good acting and for a direct-to-DVD film it was pretty good. Overall worth checking out if you're a fan of the first film.
a watchable intro, and great last twenty minutes sandwich a whole lot of blah, but i got to say feldman should definately continue this character, because he was the most entertaining part of the movie
Corey Feldman makes this movie, through and through. If it wasn't for him and his hilarious character this would be a generic cash-in sequel to a cult hit. OK to be fair this movie IS that but Feldman's character is just so hilarious that he saves the film from utter mediocrity. See it for him whether you're a fan of the original or if you get a kick out of horror movies. Plus the Tom Savini cameo in the beginning was pretty cool.
Better than I expected but rips off too many elements of the original and doesn't have enough vamps for a truly great final act. Stick around about 30 seconds in to the credits though as I'd love this to become a trilogy
