Quite an enjoying documentary. Lots of photos, experts and writers. A decent biography of the most macabre writer.

Its biggest flaw was all the forced scariness throughout. How the hell are you going to make a talking head interview scary? Why bother trying? The interviews were all pretty good, and had some actual criticism (they didn't shy away from his racism, and they weren't afraid to admit that the man really did write a lot of stinkers) so it wasn't all fluff. It's really just for people interested in Horror fiction, but it's not so exclusive that casual fans should stay away.

It runs down his stories, tells a little bit about his life, people give opinions. It's about what you'd expect, and it does it well.
