i was really uneasy watching this movie, just because it's so violent at the start and i was young, but the plot is great and bruce willis' character is awesome. A movie.

Not an original movie, but pretty entertaining. Hollywood just needs to stop with this 'flashy editing', in the words of Peter Griffin: "it really grinds my gears."

Nicely written story and dialogue, but the end was way too long and it did not rise the plot as it should. There was a big quantity of famous actors, although they did not give extra spark I was expecting. Josh and Lucy were odd couple for each other.

Clever, saw most of the ending coming, but it still managed to surprise me on a few points.

witty... they had me fooled up until slevin started to get cocky... which was about half way threw the movie... so i was impressed

Critics didn't like this but I thought it was clever and enjoyable.

I was not sure what to think of how good this would be when I was it in the theater. Damn, what what was I thinking? This movie is badass. Bruce Willis is cool as ever and Josh Hartnett showed he don't always suck.

A lot cleverer than I expected, although I did see a lot of stuff coming before it did and they used the usual lazy cheat of having a couple of twists that had no clues in the first place (at least I think so). Performances by all were great, and it had some snappy dialogue which is what brought the score up for me. Probably being a bit generous, but what was bringing it down for me is the retarded title...

Apart from some painful 1-upping dialouge, really fun ride.

It's fun, fast, and very, very clever... a perfect smart alec crime thriller with an impressive cast and the right balance of humour and violence to keep everyone entertained.
