Unlike Not Quite Hollywood, they don't delve much into the history, logistics, or distribution of these films. Instead, it's a bunch of gory, sexy clips interspersed with commentary. For an exploitation fan, it passes the time, and Roger Corman and John Landis are fun to listen to. I especially liked Landis's bald-faced, nostalgia-free account of exploitation films. Still, the clips get old, and most other talking heads are highly repetitive, or just plain full of shit. Mediocre, but watchable.

i liked it! gave me some insight into an interesting period of roger cormans career. Shows that the exploitation era wasnt just about exploitation movies but exploiting poorer countries to make films cheaper. definatly made me want to get into more of these kinds of movies. I particularly want to check out the weng weng movies like for your height only and the blood island series.

Documentary on the Philippine Exploitation explosion of the late 60s to the early 80s. Featuring Roger Corman, John Landis, Joe Dante, R Lee Ermey, Brian Trenchard-Smith, Sid Haig, Eddie Romero, Jack Hill, and many others. Very similar to the American Grindhouse documentary, but I think it is better largely because of the much more narrow scope of the subject.

Fun, fast-paced doc that shows you what you want to see (terrible monsters, fake-ass gore, boobs) and nothing else. Fine by me!
