There are moments of animated genius here, but the plot is as weak as the dialogue is (often) sharp, and Schwimmer and Smith's characters suffer from a terminal lack of use. It's an entertaining romp for adults and kids alike, but there still feels like there could have been so much more.

Good quality family fun to be had here with four very likeable and funny animals on a trip to Madagascar. It's a great and creative storyline thats never been done before and voiced by some of the funniest actors around (Stiller & Rock of course). The lemurs are a tad silly but still very funny and you can't help but bob your head when they sing 'I Like To Move It'. Overall it's great for the kids and still enjoyable for adults as well so worth checking out.
