An improvement over the previous films but not great by any means. Still, it is entertaining and has some nice animation.

It's exactly what you expect. Pretty much on a par with the first two; worth seeing if you enjoyed those. Animation is great, the script is good, and there are plenty of involving, clever scenes (mostly chase sequences). Drags a little despite being only 90 minutes long, but no other issues really, this is a fine little film.

Story wise I remember the first two installments as much more tight. Europe's Most Wanted seems to have been more of a playground of more or less crazy ideas, where anything goes. Still quite entertaining, though... Ra da dada dada da da Circus!

Manages to reach new levels of absurdity, which is fun in a Saturday morning cartoons sort of way. The most impressive part of the film by far is Vitali and his awesome trick. The development of his character is head and shoulders above the rest of the film.

A real shock, this one, yet an entirely welcome one. Knowing the basic premise of the series, I was immediately swept up in a tide of hilarity, excitement, and color. The script, co-written by Noah Baumbach, of all people, is delightfully insane: where else will you see a lemur steal the Pope's signet ring for his lover, a bear? Superb animation and top-notch voice acting; Bryan Cranston and Martin Short are especially strong. A couple of predictable story beats aside, a near-constant delight.

I quite enjoyed this. Even with the many inconsistencies and rather ludicrous plot, or maybe because of it, it was fun time with a decent amount of laughs. The large cast of characters means that despite most of them being one note they don't wear out their welcome.

At first I thought this movie was going to be bad. It had sort of a slow and weird start but once they introduced all the characters, especially the new ones from the Circus I really started to love this movie. I have to say that I LOVE the lemurs and penguins. As far as voice acting goes Jessica Chastain was my favorite as the cheetah. They introduced a great bad guy (or girl) who gives Cruella DeVille a run for her money. Really good humor and the Circus scene was stunning. Just a fun time.

Absolutely mental, and defying convention the Madagascar films actually get MORE enjoyable as they go on rather than less. Might be an idea to stop with this one though.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect. Except that you get what plays as a last act (and a rather brilliant one) first. The jokes-per-minute quota is high, so what does it really matter that the humour is often less than sophisticated? It's a breezy watch, and DuBois is a fun villain.
