Summary: Balakrishna Kurup (Innocent) is forced by wife Kunjulakshmi (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) to remarry Saraswathi (Zeenath) after they had no luck conceiving. But after Kurup remarries, both his wives conceive, eventually turn enemies & their sons, Madhavankutty (Mukesh) & Krishnankutty (Saikumar), grow up to be rivals. When Radhika (Vaishnavi) of the Valiyakoyikkal family wanted a job at Kurup's school, both his sons vie to get her the job, with their mothers supporting them, each wanting to marry Radhika.
