Summary: Dr. Vinayachandran (Mammootty), a cardiologist & a Hindu, marries Neena (Suhasini), a Christian girl whom he meets in Ooty, after she surmounts her family's stiff opposition. However, soon after giving birth to a girl child, Vineetha, Neena dies in an accident & a distraught Vinayachandran leaves Ooty with Vineetha. Years later, Vineetha & Vinayachandran return to Ooty for a vacation, but Vinayachandran now has to fend off Neena's family who wants them, especially Vineetha, to stay back in Ooty. (by iceblox)
