Variable documentary about a character who is without doubt of interest to many, although this is hardly a deeply penetrating exploration of the man or even the cultural phenomenon. Can be enjoyed for the music and some of the footage, but the use of animation was inexplicable.

The first half was a bit boring but it got better in the second. Not a traditional doc., it's even a bit biased, but still a fun movie.

Okay Documentary

Not very informative ducumentary. It only shows one side of the legend - a hero. Kusturica talks about himself almost as much as he talks about Maradona. I'm aren't big fan of football, so it was more interesting to see what Maradona does now - political activeness and regrets for all he lost due to cocaine addiction.

an unabashedly biased portrait of maradona, and a film that tells almost as much about kusturica as it does about the football god. if you can accept this, this movie will show you a really good time. the Maradonian Church is awesome
