Udo is not the witch hunter that Vince Price was, but he still burns them up pretty well.

Not sure what, but something about it really doesn't "click" with me. Even with all the torture it's still a pretty flat film with an odd score. They say sound design can make or break a film, maybe this is one of those cases.

Though its barf is ultimately worse than its bite, this remains a fairly kinky, sadistic flick, featuring strong turns by fright vets Lom, Nalder, and Kier. Some of the Inquisitional dialogue is worthy of Monty Python.
