A bleak movie filled with unhappy people becoming more desperate and aimless as time goes by, where having empathy can be considered a weakness. It's a bit slow, drab looking and the straightforward storytelling offers no real surprises. It's just a lot of people being miserable, and you need to be in the mood for a film like that. Guess I wasn't, really.

needs a re-watch

At first I was bewildered (what am i watching?). Then I grew bored (what is the freakin' point?). But by the end I kind of understood and I was moved deeply. This film requires a second viewing.

another masterpiece of turkish cinema,but other movies of same director is not so good.
