Movies like this bother me. They're made well enough, the acting is fine, but they're so damn cliche-ridden and manipulative that it's like the script was churned out by a program written to scrape any page on TV Tropes tagged with "romance". And yet I still tear up at points because I'm easily manipulated emotionally and then I get mad when these movies remind me of that fact. I can't tell if I should rate this movie decently for managing an emotional response or poorly for being so rote.
