Summary: Velayudhankutty (Jayaram), after a failed try to marry his uncle Shankarankutty Menon's (Innocent) daughter Amminikutty (Sitara), leaves for Palani to find an old pal Kunjikhader (Mammukoya) & to get a job. There, the search for Kunjikhader lands him in jail & he loses all his cash. Desperate, he robs Kaalimuthu (Krishnankutty Nair) & but his loot turns out to be a barber's kit, with which he becomes a barber. Later, he lies to Kaalimuthu about being an orphan & Kaalimuthu adopts him as his son. (by iceblox)
