Summary: Madhavan Nair aka "Meesha Madhavan" (Dileep), a petty thief in the village of Chek, woos his arch enemy Bhageerathan Pillai's (Jagathi) daughter, Rukmini (Kavya Madhavan), & after some initial spats, Rukmini also falls for him. Bhageerathan Pillai tries to foil the relationship, with the help of the new SI, Eppan Pappachi (Indrajith). Then one day, the local temple idol disappears & suspicion falls on Madhavan.
