Summary: The unmarried Meleparambil brothers Jayakrishnan (Jagathi Sreekumar), Gopikrishnan (Vijayaraghavan) & Harikrishnan (Jayaram) live in fear of their father who insists that they can marry only those who meet his strict terms. Harikrishnan gets a job in Pollachi where he meets Pavizham (Shobana) & after a lot of hassle, marries her. Fearful of his family, he sneaks Pavizham into his house as a maid servant.
