It's entertaining enough, but everything about it just screams 'DVD extra'. One of these days, there'll be a short film from the Dreamworks studio that's capable of standing on its own merits, but despite a couple of funny moments, this isn't it.

There was some Lost connections and a decent cannibal joke but they did not save the hyper comical, slapstick humour I used to hate in Madagascar movie series. A love story between a raindeer and a penguin was a good idea though underdeveloped. Half an hour shortie's got almost ten minutes ending titles!
