Summary: Boy Steffen meets another boy, Charly who lives at an institution for socially disabled young boys. It's one of the more important films from the beginning of the Danish era of youth films, later including Zappa, Pelle the Conqueror etc. Allan Olsen and especially Kim Jensen in the leading roles are having a tough time adapting to adult life, without safe surroundings at home. It's pretty fun and yeah, sweet, although it doesn't have as much nerve as the best youth films from the late 70's, start 80's. Not so dark, more childishly cocky. I think Kim Jensen is superb in the leading role, and Okking and Nørby are good as always. But one thing you should see this film for is the over-the-top gay moped scene. That ought to say enough. Also the film has a great Danish refrain: "Lev livet mand! Det er her det sner!" Watch the trailer - AWESOME.
