Birbiglia's writing is very strong, even if it takes a little while to warm up to his delivery style. The stories themselves -- particularly the charity golf tournament / MLB Awards double-whammy that closes the show -- are outstanding, and Birbiglia makes strong use of call-backs throughout the show. I will occasionally play this special via Netflix on my iPhone and just listen to it while I clean my room. Even without looking, I can always picture his physicality exactly. It's great stand-up.

I'll be honest it took longer than normal for this guy's humour to settle in but once it did it was pretty much a non-stop guy buster. Mike's calm and unaggressive demeanour combined with his viciously self-depreciating humour really stands out as I can't think of any other comic like him.

Oh man, this guy is good. "Hey there, cracker, pass me the Sun Chips!"
