Minotaur

Hilariously bad! The movie is so blatantly low budget that you could even see movie equipment throughout many scenes of the movie. They also got the mythology wrong which is pretty comical given how they try to incorporate it into the film. Of course, you have the usual hammy acting, bad writing and bad special effects coming from a movie like this and you have a "so bad it's good" popcorn flick!

Why do they make this kind of movies?

I honestly have no clue what happened in this movie, but I hated it.

Pretty awful, with all the usual failings of low budget, tv-horror: shitty camera work, laughable over-acting, and terrible writing. Bad enough that it's kind of amusing to watch with a group, especially those familiar with the myth (and man, do they butcher it!).

Actually pretty fun. Dines on the crazy visuals and weirdness of the Greek myths which is really all I ask from movies set in that time. The first section, about the Athenians subjugated by the Cretans deserved a lot more time.

Oh dear. Rutger Hauer is in this for about 3 minutes, and the rest is awful.

In the right hands and with a higher budget, a group of people being hunted down by a Minotaur could be decent. Unfortunately, this was absolutely dreadful. The film was very dull and not convincing. Acting is bad and Tony Todd was crap. The Minotaur CGI/special effects are super wonky but probably the best thing going for it. The movie overuses slow motion effects and flashbacks. Most camera shots feel amateur. I suppose seeing Tom Hardy's early acting career is interesting, but that's it.

I'll be honest, there were a few moments I enjoyed. But they were deathscenes.. and they were gory. There were 2 shots that were reasonable, but they lasted about 2 seconds. I'm sure I'll forget this movie quickly, nothing memorable about it at all

Understanding the minotaur myth should be a prerequisite for making a minotaur movie. I really dislike this move to present "the real story behind the legend."

Another blemish for this Genre that gets flooded with fucked up low budget crap. Those Movies got nothing except a funky cover. That's all you need to make some Dollars. That's the sad result of today's Horror Movies!
