Much like, "The Clock," with Judy Garland & Robert Walker, this movie has such an emotional tie with it. Such a simple movie, but one I'll always remember how I felt after watching.

Very few films can deliver an emotional experience while retaining simplicity. This is one of them! I would also recommend 'The Clock' and 'Portrait of Jennie' if you enjoyed this film.

A strange and beautiful story that drew me in from the beginning; by the end I bet I was five whole feet closer to the screen. Now I can't tell you what caused this, because it really didn't seem to be that extraordinary of a movie. All I know is that there is something truly wonderful about this forgotten classic that everyone needs experience firsthand. It's dark and light at the same time, and every little side story enhances that all to familiar theme: love never dies.
