A must-see holiday movie. Completely charming. It hasn't lost it's magic in over 50 years.

One of the best Christmas films of all time. It's not Christmas Story, but it's still a classic and easily in the top five movies to watch in December.

if i have to sit through one of the sappy xmas films, this is the one. edmund gwenn is a natural st nick and natalie wood was really cute, playing the role of the skeptic.

I can't believe I didn't see this until now. I think I would have liked it better as a kid, but it's still a great Christmas movie.

A Christmas classic.

Silky smooth.

It wants to be whimsically charming, yet it frequently has a dark, cynical streak. It wants to promote a good moral yet it does so with the expense of other good morals. Edmund Gwenn is great as Santa, yet Wood's shtick gets old fast. An odd mix of charming and annoying scenes.

This film is an indelible part of my childhood Christmas memories and is still my favourite Christmas movie of them all.

I think this is a satire about how messed up the American legal system is?

Isn't quite miraculous but it makes sense why this is considered a Christmas classic. It's no 'Die Hard', though.

So this is the quintessential christmas movie, eh? Offering a greedy store owner lying in court to secure future profits, a morally corrupt judge making a mockery of a trial in order not to jeopardize his own career and a young lawyer using the most questionable of arguments to further his, while trying to get close to a woman by undermining her parenting. That, and the overall point that Santa is good for business. Merry Christmas everyone!

Natalie Wood is absurdly cute, her soon-to-be parents are fun and Kris makes ample use of his shillelagh. Plus the Post Office turns out to be some sort of ultimate arbiter.

'Tis alright. Certainly not on the level of "It's a Wonderful Life" (more complex and emotionally involving) or "A Christmas Story" (much funnier, sweeter and less obvious than "Miracle"), or even some of the classic animated specials of the 60s, but it's a harmless bit of innocent fluff for the holidays and Gwenn makes for a great Santa, even getting flustered at times when the guy in the display window mixes up the order of the big guy's reindeer.

My favorite Christmas movie of all time. I still cry at the end. Very topical, what with prices for houses so high.
