well this is an action\adventure movie that belongs to 2011 and when you see it you understand from modern technologies and touristic places that it is a movie of this decade . I'm 90% sure that 90% of the viewers don't care about the logic of the events but they are worried about the characters . for me that was pure adrenaline and that was the good job of the team of visual effects , sound , cinematography and ... .

The set pieces are well done, but otherwise the film is rather hollow. The characters are underdeveloped, the plot is thin and strained and some aspects feel stretched out for the overlong runtime. As a series of actions scenes with decent hooks and tension, however, it works.

Great set-pieces, though the action was contrived and the villain was not as awesome as in the 3rd one. Even said, this is probably the best one yet.

There sure was pretty familiar stuff around, but I liked the output a lot. Action scenes worked more than just fine. Although I was a bit surprised there was no Ving Rhames or Tom Wilkinson, nor Michelle Monaghan in the titles. Highly recommend to all Mission Impossible fans.

This is how you do an action movie. Though light on narrative, it is easily forgivable due to the fantastic action sequences, likeable characters, and some nice cinematography. It never forgets what kind of movie it is and never tries to be something it isn't. Fun throughout the entire thing.

Great at showing off epic action pieces and complicated missions that often go wrong, but loses some of its reality during cheesy plotlines and overly CGI reliant shots. Mostly forgiven, though, because the action really is quite good.

the positiveness of the points may be attributed to the fact that i may be biased as i am towards anything with simon pegg in it because he is great like that. also, jeremy renner's participation boosted it extremely. storyline very typical of the franchise, not great, but not bad either. every female actor in this sucks though. and this is a female's opinion, so that's probably saying something. all in all fun, but forgettable two hours.

I don't understand why they cast villains that couldn't physically compete with Tom Cruise, and then have them physically compete with Tom Cruise. Aside from that, the building climb actually made me grip the theater seat. Vertigo inducing direction was awesome.

Tom Cruise is amazing. He plays Hunt with both seriousness and a bit of humor. My main problem with this insanely entertaining action flick is that the awe inducing Burj Khalifa scene is the climax and should be the final action set piece. After this the movie has problems keeping up.

While lacking Brad Bird's characteristic characterization, Ghost Protocol is an awe-inspiring throwback to old spy films. The film is carried by an excellent cast, incredible stunts, truly witty dialogue and Bird's kinetic direction.

Tense, skillful, diverting. Doesn't add up to much in the end (these flicks never do), but it's got its fair share of magnificent, gracefully directed action setpieces that will be tough to shake: the Burj Khalifa climb, the car elevator climax, the entire fluidly paced Kremlin sequence. Plus, Paula Patton kicks lots of ass. Easily the best, most enjoyable "Mission: Impossible" picture to date.

Fast and fun for the first half, but 80 minutes and a bottle of wine in my interest began to evaporate. The plot goes awry, the set pieces dry up and you become so disinterested in the outcome you feel you could be watching any old average action movie from the '90s onward. Pretty much like the last M:I effort then.
