I can't tell if it's the nature of the story, or my preexisting bias, but I swear this has the exact same structure, and scenes, of a Muppet Christmas Carol. And in the same ways, this is well above the (relatively low) holiday average.

Actually quite a good take on the Christmas Carol story. Gets in and out in 50 minutes and manages to leave us with (mostly) good songs and a (mostly) very stylish telling of the classic - even despite the fact that it's the normally-fatuous Magoo telling it. Though it's not very well-known, I'm glad to make this a part of my yearly Christmas tradition.

Surprisingly faithful, plus some good catchy songs.
