Summary: Syed Ahmed (Mohanlal), son of Lebba Sahib (Nedumudi) & mute Nabisa (Sukumari) is a revolutionary whose forward thinking brings the ire of religious Islamic leaders. They frame Syed in a bombing conspiracy which kills hundreds, after which Syed is sentenced to death. Nabisa loses her sanity & goes on an aimless search for her son. This brings her to a temple where she seeks refuge & food, but when the temple officials find out about her being a Muslim, they kick her out. (by iceblox)
