Adapted from a novel I haven't read (unfortunately), this film depicts a love story between two strangers in a foggy atmosphere. Kind of boring, actually, but it'll serve as the proof that Jeanne Moreau was actually a beautiful young woman a long, long time ago... Belmondo is perfect in his role.
