Thoughtful little film with a great score by New Order.

I like movies that depict unhappiness in a beautiful way. I don't know why (OK I have a idea why), but the fact that this movie could be so powerful in a mere 6 minutes is a credit to both director/writer Mark Osborne and New Order (who made the music).

A tale of dreams and happiness in a corporate, assembly-line society. One of the most beautiful shorts I have ever seen.

Trying to capture happiness/bliss inside a mechanism while the reality lies milimeters away. It's very mainstream considering most of the animated shorts out there (shouldn't be mainstream if most are experimental, I contradict myself). It's surprising to see Osborne went on and directed Kungfu Panda.

Creativity shouldn't be a commodity to be bought and sold, says the man who went on to direct Kung Fu Panda.

If you felt nothing while watching this, then your soul is as empty as a clay alien who pulled the lifeforce from his gut-compartment to build a pair of happy glasses that only ended up making him more miserable.

Perfect combination of visuals and music. Message of it is a bit tired, but the way it's is presented is nearly perfect.

That a short film can say so much withut a single word spoken and only 5 minutes of animation is quite a feat.

Wonderfully directed by Mark Osborne and with a great soundtrack by New Order, "More" is a bittersweet take on loneliness and lost childhood.

Visually competent and a cool song to boot, but everything here is a bit too oversimplified for my liking and I feel that every time I watch this the allegory gets confused.

There's nothing very "original" about this short film. The themes it tackles are rather simple and obvious and the visual style is clearly indebted to the likes of Terry Gilliam and Tim Burton, but the film still comes together in an extremely impressive way. It's the sort of film you can watch over and over -- not necessarily because you take so incredibly much more away from it each time intellectually, but because it's simply an incredibly well done, beautiful, haunting work.

Packs a powerful philosophical punch for a short clocking in at shortly under seven minutes, combining simple yet relatable films with lovely claymation and the pitch-perfect tones of New Order's "Elegia."

(second viewing) "Be careful what u wish for, it might come true". So many underlying themes for a 6 min short, misconception of happiness, man's coping with society. I love this short, little fella still looks like E.T. :)

Remarkably effective critique of both consumerism and cultural capitalism, pointing out the way in which these lead to the depletion of libidinal energy and as such to the deterioration of the libidinal economy.

what's all the fanfare for this about? Conventional, naive, and deceptively well made. - that's all I got out of it

Great short, and a harsh criticism of man's eternal quest to find happiness by material means, when in reality, happiness comes from within, in man's innocence, from the little things in life. New Order's haunting instrumental 'Elegia' breathes magic into this.
