Supposed to be quirky and charming, the short came across as forced and irritating. The narration is awful; words are spoken too fast for anyone except filibustering politicians to comprehend. And using overly long, fancy words for everything ("cat" becomes "feline-puss") would work better if it was used sparingly, not with every single word. Ironically, the main plot is simplistic and lacks any creative ideas. However, I like the original animation and fast pace, so I'll rate this "mediocre".

The stylistic choices are too forced but it's still rather entertaining as a short.
